Large Charcoal Grills

Large Charcoal Grills
Whether you have a big family or you’re just the designated neighborhood griller, a large charcoal grill is going to make your life much easier. For those who love to entertain and every weekend finds your backyard full of hungry guests, a little bitty grill just won’t cut it.
There are a number of options in large grills. The barrel style grills hold a lot of food and can be used to smoke meat as well. They look pretty much like a 55 gallon drum cut in half and have a hinged top. Most are set on rollers for ease in moving around and they really deliver when cooking for a crowd.
The average person won’t need the grill that can be pulled like a trailer behind your car or truck, but dedicated tailgaters and barbeque competitors swear by these. They look pretty darned impressive and you can turn out an enormous amount of food.
Another type of large charcoal grill looks very much like a table on casters. These come with lids and rotisserie attachments. Rotisseries are nice because you do not have to constantly watch the roasts or chickens as closely. You are free to mingle with your guests and check on the food every now and then. Many of them have extra shelving and work surfaces and some even have warming drawers and small refrigerators. These grills are also available as trailers.
Let’s face it. Grilling is becoming a national passtime. Men who are completely inept in a home kitchen are suddenly cooking stars when you put them in front of a grill, especially with a large audience. My two brothers constantly try to outdo each other when it comes to grilling and it’s so funny to hear them arguing about which rub or marinade is the best. Indoors, they can’t heat a can of soup, but put them in front of a large charcoal grill and they can feed the world.
