Electric Charcoal Grills

Electric Charcoal Grills
Maybe you do not want to deal with charcoal and building a fire, or hauling propane tanks, but you still would like to cook out. There are electric charcoal grills that can give you the cookout experience without the fire.
Most units are table top, but they are large enough to feed a crowd. Just plug those babies in and cook. These grills are a nice option for apartments or campers who stay in RV parks as most have electricity. My grandfather bought an electric grill years ago. He was notoriously bad with building and watching fires so the electric grill was his best friend.
There are also models that can be used indoors. They claim not to smoke and smell up the house and the one I had worked beautifully. These are very small, usuallly ceramic with an aluminum insert that can be removed for cleaning. I was pleasantly surprised to find it did a nice job. The burgers and steaks were tender and juicy and clean up was not bad at all. The electrical part is removeable, so the whole thing can be washed.
You can cook several hamburgers and hotdogs, a couple of steaks or chops, and even a small roast on the indoor models. The outdoor tabletop grills are about the size of a typical charcoal grill so you can cook more food at once. Heat regulation is easy, much the same as an electric stove, so it’s great for the barbeque rookie.
Check out the stores to decide which one is best for your use. Even if you are an inexperienced cook, the electric charcoal grill will allow you to test the waters of cooking out without having a barbeque disaster on your hands. Most of these grills come with recipes and cooking ideas, so give it a try. You’ll be a pro in no time at all.
